Angel Central is now a fantastic shopping and entertainment centre in the heart of London’s fashionable borough of Islington – but it wasn’t always like that. In 2013, Cunning Plan was brought in to help rebrand the then ‘N1 Centre’, a variety of shops, restaurants, a music venue and cinema with no sense of ‘place’.
Following a series of consultations with stakeholders (tenants, the owners, staff etc) as well as customers (and non-customers), we developed a new brand to focus on the centre’s place at the heart of Angel.

A new identity was designed and rolled out onto signage, digital assets including website and social media content campaigns. Tenant engagement was vital, through constant communication and supporting the Centre Management team to achieve ‘buy-in’ from from the stores, restaurants and venues was key to the campaigns success.
